Mr. Daniel began his legal career in 1976 as an associate at Haynsworth, Baldwin, Johnson and Greaves, a regional labor and employment firm.  He served as Managing Partner of that firm for three years, including overseeing the merger of the firm with its 7 offices and 47 attorneys with Ogletree Deakins in September 2004. Since that time, Mr. Daniel has served on Ogletree’s Compensation Committee, and from 2007-2012 served on Ogletree’s five-member Board of Directors.

Mr. Daniel’s practice is diverse and he is known by his clients for extreme responsiveness and practical approach to issues. He spends a significant amount of time enabling clients to bring vision and strategic direction to their human resource and legal needs. Mr. Daniel’s background in managing law firms as well as serving as chair of not for profit entities such as the Greenville Chamber with over 2400 corporate members and the S.C Governors School for Science and Mathematics Foundation has given him the opportunity to look at clients’ problems from a broad perspective.

Mr. Daniel is serving as Founding Board Chair of the European American Chamber of Commerce-Carolinas an organization that promotes and facilitates trade and investment between the US and Europe.
